Portraits in the Park with Gunilla

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Gunilla Larsén, Hälsoinspiratören, who wanted some new portraits for her website and marketing materials.  In keeping with the theme of her business, these pictures should  symbolize a healthy lifestyle, thus the apples.

an apple a day

portraits in the parkAfter rescheduling once due to the weather, we met at Slottsparken in Malmö on a gorgeous sunny day.  Now of course an overcast day would have made portraits easier, but before bolting for the shade, and again afterward on our way to our vehicles, I challenged myself in the full sun.  I particularly like the above picture where she’s leaning on the railing.  In that and several other pictures we can see the influence of the composition workshop with David Beckstead.
