I recently had my first photo shoot for Essence Vitae, a group of photographers who volunteer their time to help families with life-threatening illnesses preserve their memories. My subject was Algot and his family. At the age of two, Algot has already endured 11 operations and countless trips to the emergency room, yet the whole time I was with him, he made me forget all about that. He was so happy and full of life. It was clear that he brings joy to everyone around him.
Because there were so many pictures, this is the first half.
Jag har nyligen haft min första fotografering med Essence Vitae, en grupp fotografer som jobbar idéelt för att hjälpa familjer med livshotande sjukdomar föreviga sina minnen. Jag fotograferade Algot med familjen. Han är bara två år, men han har redan undergått 11 operationer och åkt in till akuten hur många gånger som helst. Men hela den tiden som jag var med honom, gjorde han så att jag glömde bort alla den tråkiga. Han var så glad och livlig. Det var tydligt att han sprider glädje bland alla som känner honom.
